Change the world, one resolution at a time by developing global leadership skills through Model United Nations policy making
The Model United Nations (MUN) Policy Making and Global Leadership Masterclass is designed for high school students who are passionate about current global issues and interested in developing their leadership and diplomacy skills. Students will learn about policy making, negotiation, and public speaking, as well as gain a deeper understanding of international relations and global issues. The Masterclass will help students to develop their critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership skills, while also providing an opportunity to connect with other like-minded students from around the world. By the end of the Masterclass, students will have the skills and confidence to become global leaders and make a positive impact in their communities and beyond.
Theo is a sophomore at Harvard College from London in the United Kingdom. He is studying History with a particular focus on modern European diplomatic History and is considering a secondary concentration in Economics.
Theo is particularly interested in international relations and has been involved in MUN since high school travelling with Harvard’s competitive team and working on both Harvard’s high school and college MUN conferences.
Theo chairs Harvard’s Political Union debating pressing (and not-so-pressing) issues. He also works on the Harvard Undergraduate Foreign Policy Initiative and volunteers with one of Harvard’s teaching programs helping to educate middle schoolers in their civic rights.
In his free time, Theo enjoys reading, rowing, listening to cheesy ‘80s music, and walking his excitable cocker spaniel. He has conducted programs for teenagers in the past and strives to do the same and is committed towards youngsters achieving their goals in the impact space
